On Saturday March 12th, 2022 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Riverside Centre in Rock Creek!

Flock together for a day of EVERYTHING BIRDS!

Door Prizes!  Interesting Refreshments!

Items for Sale: Bird mugs, cards, art work, calendars.

Bird displays, custom bird soap by Earth Child Essentials.

Greenwood Elementary Blue Bird House Project.

Several bird house plans will be available.

List of Species at Risk in the Boundary, with special focus on the threatened Lewis’s Woodpecker.

Instructions for suet making and feeding birds.  List of plants and shrubs that are beneficial for birds.  Bird brochures and official bird list will be available. Birding book and digital photography book samples for browsing.

Christmas & Summer Bird Count information will be available, as well as a Test Your Knowledge Sheet.

— On Sunday at 9 am there will be a Birding Walk with Richard Cannings (MP & Orinthologist) —

We meet at the Red Schoolhouse in Kettle Valley at 9:00am and will
have an instructed walk on the Kettle Valley Trail (Trans Canada Trail)
Bring water, cameras, etc.  (Outhouse available at St.Mary’s Church, )
