Mount Baldy

This growing community is home to Baldy Mountain Resort, a year round resort with snow sports in the winter and hiking in the summer.  The community is accessible from Hwy 3 (Crowsnest) to the south via Mount Baldy Road near Bridesville, and from the east from Oliver via Camp McKinney Road.  Over 150 cottages comprise the area with plans for more development. The resort offers 2 lifts, a t-bar, ski rentals, a ski school, snowshoeing, cross country trails, frisbee golf and lounge.  As of the 2021 census, 67 people call Mount Baldy home.  Local groups Baldy Mountain Community Association and Mt Baldy Alpine Ski Club support community activities and development.
