Midway Fire and Rescue, along with the Midway RCMP have planned a Charity Hockey game at the Boundary Expo Recreation Centre Arena in Midway on February 25, 2023, from 3PM-6PM. This event is going to be a FREE family event for all ages.
Our intention is to raise funds for Victims of Domestic Violence Programs. These programs provide services for women and their children who are at risk of violence or have experienced violence, along with outreach, and drop in services. All proceeds raised during this event will be donated to this cause.
There will be many draw prizes as well as a 50/50 Draw. Here are some of the prizes to be won:
Gift Cards from: Greenwood CANCO, Deadwood Junction & Tarnished Turkey Cappuccino, Freeman’s Country Supply, Granton Motors, Mama’s Pacific Grill, McMynn’s Ace Hardware, McMynn’s Family Foods, Pourboys Mechanical, Prospector Pub, Rags Relics and Rutabagas, Route 3 Print Studio, The Crossing Restaurant & Midway Spot. We have also received donations from the following local businesses: Kettle Valley Golf Club, Pownall Construction, That Guy Detailing, Village of Midway & Born Free Equine.
Special intermission performances are being planned that you will not want to miss.
This promises to be a fun afternoon for everyone so please mark it on your calendars. Again, there is no admission charge, just come out and have some fun and be entertained.
