Job Postings: 2 Different Seasonal Boundary Invasive Species Technicians Needed

The Boundary Invasive Species Society is now accepting resumes for 2 different summer positions in the Boundary.  Each is for a 16 week period, May through August. 

The Boundary Invasive Species Society operates an invasive species program through the summer. The program covers the geographic area of the Kettle River watershed commonly referred to as the Boundary. The program consists of public education, inventory and monitoring of invasive species sites, providing information to landowners, on ground control (biological control agents and manual treatments).  The program works to coordinate management of invasive species management within the Boundary.

1st POSITION: Invasive Species Field Technician

Employer: Boundary Invasive Species Society
Start Date: Monday May 3, 2021 (tentative – will depend on when funding confirmed)
End Date: Friday August 20, 2021
Office Location: Rock Creek, BC
Work Location: Within the Boundary area which includes Electoral Areas C, D & E within the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary.

2nd POSITION: Invasive Species Outreach Technician
