SEEKING CAMPGROUND HOST/COUPLE
FOR THE ROCK CREEK FAIR CAMPGROUND (Blaine Memorial Campground)
Enjoy your summer on the Kettle River at the Blaine Memorial Campground (Rock Creek Fall Fair). We are seeking a Host Person or Couple from June 24th to September 3rd , 2024. (dates negotiable)
This position offers many FREE live-on-site benefits, PLUS EXTRA INCOME, for one, as a part-time Campground Attendant at a rate of $21.00 per hour.
BENEFITS WE OFFER:
FREE CAMPSITE including water, sewer (pump out), 30 or 50 amp power and picnic table, FREE WIFI (staff area)
Park Hosts must provide their own RV and maintain a clean site as this space is the first impression of the park. Host couples must wear uniform vest (provided) while on duty.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Attendant hours are 4 – 5 hours p/day, 5 days p/week.
Maintenance, stocking & cleaning of the washrooms, showers and outhouses.
Campsite maintenance
Provide Visitor Info on local interests and activities
Computer Booking Software, collecting fees
Campsite Security
Opening/closing park gates
EMPLOYEE REQUIREMENTS:
-Manage time effectively and work well unsupervised
-Compliance of safety protocols & campground rules
-Attendance of staff meetings, reporting to the RCFBA Manager
-Physical requirements may include walking on uneven surfaces, bending, reaching, lifting up to 40 lbs
As this is a seasonal position, we cannot accept requests for holidays off, however YOU WILL HAVE 2 DAYS OFF per week for your personal commitments as well as time off during private events.
Both applicants, if applicable, must provide a valid driver’s license and pass RCMP Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector checks. (Any fees for record checks are reimbursed following the completion of the season.)
