Summer Reading Club Coordinator
(Late June to end of August)
The Greenwood Public Library is looking for Summer Program Coordinator. This position is temporary – approximately 32 hrs. per week for an 8-week period. (start date is somewhat flexible). Any persons that feel they meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
-Must be between the ages of 16 and 30
-Legally entitled to work in Canada
Duties
-Planning and implementing our Summer Reading club for children aged 5-12 years
-Themed games, crafts, and activities for the once a week reading club
-Assisting with preschool Storytime
-Promotion of the program on social media
-Other library tasks as time allows
Experience
-Strong organizational skills
-Experience working with children
-Able to work independently and within a team setting
-Strong computer skills
-Comfortable with posting on social media
