Job Opportunity: Boundary Invasive Species Society

The Boundary Invasive Species Society is looking for part time labourers to help with manual removal of invasive yellow flag iris near Beaverdell or Christina Lake.  Work will take place for the last two weeks of August and two to three weeks of September.

Job Description:

  • digging, bagging, and carrying iris out of infested sites
  • surveying for yellow flag iris
  • working in mud and brush for much of the day
  • 8-to-10-hour days
  • $20 to $21 an hour

Requirements:

  • located within the RDKB with transport to carpool pickup locations
  • physically fit and prepared for hard, physical work in challenging conditions
