There will be an emergency alert test issued at 10:55 am (Pacific time) on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. The test alert will go to all compatible cellphones and interrupt radio and television broadcasts. This test is being conducted as part of Emergency Preparedness Week and will assess the system’s readiness for an actual emergency.
To receive the alert, your mobile device must be:
Connected to LTE or 5G.
Not on Do-Not-Disturb or airplane mode.*
Have up-to-date software.
