FortisBC Public Safety Power Shutoff Open House

The public is invited to attend an open house at McArthur Centre in Greenwood on Wednesday, June 11th from 4 pm to 7 pm to speak with representatives directly.
Public Safety Power Shutoff: The Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) is a new initiative that would see us shutoff power to limited sections of our system during periods of extreme wildfire risk to reduce potential ignition sources. A PSPS event is tool of last resort that we anticipate would be used rarely.
