Government of BC: Ease of doing business survey is open

Ease of Doing Business is an initiative to help make doing business easier through engagement with the B.C. business community.

Help us identify ways to make it easier to do business in B.C. Use the submission form below to share your ideas, challenges, or suggestions. 

What’s on the Form:

The submission form asks about specific challenges your business faces in B.C. and your recommended solutions. You’ll also have the option to share information about your business industry, size, and location.

Important Note:

Please submit a separate form response for each distinct challenge and solution you wish to share. This helps us track and address specific issues more effectively.

Time Required:

The submission form takes approximately 5-7 minutes to complete. Most questions are multiple-choice, with a few short-answer opportunities to explain your specific situation.

Sharing Results:

We will publish a summary of findings and recommended actions on the Ease of Doing Business website. Participants who opt-in for notifications will receive email updates on how their feedback is being implemented and measured.

Examples of feedback topics include:

  • Prompt payment legislation
  • Emergency economic recovery
  • Transportation infrastructure
  • Any other area where the Province can better support business operations
