For the past three years, plus a few months, we have been re-introduced (by professional (regional and provincial) foresters, biologists, hydrologists, agriculturists, artists, trades people, medical providers and others) to an in- depth over-view of the rich resources we enjoy in the West Boundary. We have also learned of the many and growing threats to these resources – which are our very heritage, way and means of living. So….
Yes, So!!!! Beginning this month, July 2026, it’s time to really, really look at all we’ve LEARNED rather than riffling thru the drawer for the HANDOUT on that problem (“where did we shove it anyway?”). AND it’s time to DO something proactive about our Boundary Community Safety Net – while we still have one.
Thursday, 1:30 pm, July 9th – Lorraine Bradford Presenting “How Sometimes Sandpits, the ‘Great, Gray, Green, Greasy…’ Congo River, Mamba Snakes and Overgrown Mango Trees Can Interfere With the Supply Chain.” Join Lorrie Bradford (accompanied by her almost silent spouse, Eugene Bradford) telling us about their 15 years providing accountancy, equipment & supply procurement and management, as well as mail delivery in Zaire, Africa. Their work covered a nursing school and over 20 mission stations for Evangelical Covenant Church. – We will learn what threats to a “safety net” really mean.
