
The ‘New Horizon’ grant activities for the “Seniors Being Seen Program” are ongoing at Riverside Centre in Rock Creek, each Thursday from 1:30 – 3 pm. Come and join us, it’s a free activity and there is lots to learn 
All seniors are welcome. All programmes are about 50 minutes long (with time for questions/answers). Complimentary, catered refreshments are served after each session.

Thursday, Sept. 10th, 1:30 pm – “Travelogue Egypt and Japan” – Wanda & Curt Garrison present stunning photographs of their fabulous “Bucket List” travels. Who Knew sand, camels, & absolutely no trash anywhere could be so beautifully romantic, Really, WHO KNEW???
Thursday, Sept. 17th, 1:30 pm – “THE TWELVE STEPS” What are they anyway? Could they be of any possible use with the collective, contagious anxiety that can hit any of us these days. Rick Matheson, Twelve Step spokesperson, will introduce us to the what, why and how. While several of our previous Seniors’ Programs have presented ways to develop inner stability from the perspective of psychology, Mr. Matheson will define how these steps are useful to anyone, anytime, anywhere. “In really rocky times, is there, anything solid left? And DO NOT get preachy at me!” Join us with Rick Matheson in his lively, interactive presentation.
