 followed by the AGM at 7:15

Hello Members and Friends of the Rock Creek and Boundary Fair Association.

The RCBFA AGM Committee would like to remind everyone of the upcoming AGM and election on Wednesday, November 15.  We will be holding a Pre-AGM General Meeting, starting at 6:30, followed by the AGM at 7:15.

To be eligible to vote or to let your name stand for election as a Director, you must have attended a minimum of two (2) meetings in the previous calendar year and have paid your $5 membership fee.  

It is important that we have as many members and interested parties attend these meetings as we welcome the involvement and support of the community which is in turn beneficial to the success of grant funding opportunities.  If you have attended only one meeting, the Pre-AGM meeting would count as your second meeting making you eligible to vote or stand for election at the AGM.  If you have not attended any meetings but would like to become involved, the Pre-AGM and following AGM would count as two meetings, which along with the $5 membership due, would qualify you to vote or to stand for election at future meetings.

The RCBFA By-Laws require a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 11 Directors, including the Executive positions of President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary.  In allowing your name to stand as Director, it is expected that you would attend regular monthly meetings, participate in year round business and and also be willing to take on a key organizational component or volunteer position for Fair Weekend.
