                Dean Corbett who did this for years in his elementary school classes in the district will demonstrate and instruct simple old-time dances like Waltzes, Two Steps, Schottisches, Polkas, some free form ones like the Twist and easy pattern dances in squares or rounds or individual sets etc.  The emphasis is on learning, reviewing and having fun in a friendly atmosphere.

                Learn the Virginia Reel, Maple Leaf Stomp, Oh Johnny Oh, and more.

                Age appropriate for 7 and up; no former dance experience necessary.

                Admission and refreshments by donation to the BVCC.

If this works out well, we may do it on a regular basis.
