Ruth Neveu

Ruth brings over 25 years of experience in youth and family work with the Abbotsford School District, where she created the Bateman Equestrian Program and developed its government-accredited high school curriculum. She holds a Master’s degree in Professional Communication and is deeply committed to fostering inclusive, connected communities.

Rooted in faith and family, Ruth relocated to the Christian Valley in 2022 with her husband of 39 years. They have two adult sons living in Revelstoke and Abbotsford and maintain close connections with their extended family. An outdoor enthusiast and former marathon runner, Ruth enjoys hiking, cycling, and horse pack trips. She recently completed a solo 890-kilometer trek across Spain and cycled through Tuscany, Italy.

Ruth currently works as an Educational Assistant with School District 51 and as a Community Connector with Boundary Family Services. Always up for something new—belly dancing lessons, anyone?
