Lumin holds degrees specializing in International Business and Project Management. She has worked as a Business Analyst with the Department of National Defence’s Engineering Division, and with UVIC’s Gustavson School of Business, managing custom-designed and grant funded programs under the Indigenous entrepreneurship portfolio and other custom programs in Agri-Tourism.

Currently she holds a contract with Trails to The Boundary Society focused on community and economic development in the West Boundary, and is involved with the development of the local Food Hub. Lumin has had family residing in the West Boundary for several generations, and has an avid interest in the abundant history of the region.
