Emmalee has resided in the Boundary for most of her life and calls the region home. Upon graduation, she pursued post-secondary education at Lakeland College in Vermilion, Alberta, where she obtained her degree in Animal Science Technology, specializing in general livestock. Emmalee joined the team during the summer of 2023 as the Visitor Centre summer student, from which she was offered this permanent position as the Society’s Visitor Centre Coordinator and Administrator. She has been involved in local groups in the area, primarily the 4-H groups – was a member herself in her youth and has since come back and volunteered at competitions and events. Emmalee is very creative, and loves to be hands-on with anything artistic, she gets most of her inspiration from finding and sharing with others the ‘hidden gems’ around our region.
